Once your ceremony is complete, your guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the Fort whilst you explore the tunnels and exhibitions looking for less-than-traditional photo opportunities. If you book your reception with us, you can party the night away in the pre-fabricated 1940s steel Romney Hut as the sun sets over the ramparts.

Newhaven Fort can accommodate up to 60 people for ceremonies and up to 150 for receptions.

We have our own car park that can hold up to 40 cars.

Yes. The Activity Centre at Newhaven Fort is licensed for ceremonies and can hold up to 60 people.

Use of the chairs and tables that we have on site are included in the price.

Yes we can!

We do not provide an in-house catering service, but we have a list of preferred caterers for you to choose from.

We don’t provide a bar service but your caterers will take care of this for you.

Unfortunately you cannot bring your own alcohol.

All festivities at the Fort must finish by 11:00pm.

Newhaven Fort does not supply staff or utensils for cake-cutting.
