Where Learning is Unforgettable
We combine stimulating, hands-on education with enjoyment, resulting in effective learning and lasting memories. An educational trip here is an unforgettable fun-packed day.
Perfect for students studying the Second World War and local history, the defensive history of the Newhaven Fort site dates back to the Iron Age. The fort that stands today was built in the 19th Century, following the threat of invasion by Napoleon III, and Newhaven Fort played a significant role in both the First and Second World Wars as part of a network of defences protecting the English coast.
